The King of Fruits – Mango
Originally from South Asia, mangoes are also known as the King of Fruits. Today, mangoes are the most commonly eaten fruit in the world, with India being the greatest supplier. It is one of the most popular, nutritionally rich fruits with unique flavor, fragrance, taste, and heath promoting qualities, making it a functional food, often labelled as “super fruits.”
A Delicious Fruit with Innumerable Benefits!
Mango is one of the delicious seasonal fruits grown in the tropics. Botanically, this exotic fruit belongs to the family of Anacardiaceae, a family that also includes numerous species of tropical fruiting trees in the flowering plants such as cashew, pistachio.
The sweet flavor of mango presents a burst of avenues to style your cup of tea into something beautiful. Mango flavored black tea pairs well with herbal accents such as orange peel, lemongrass, and rose hips.
Mangoes taste like a tropical island getaway, which is a good enough reason to add them to your diet, but they also have a number of health benefits, including being high in antioxidant vitamins A and C. Combined with the benefits of drinking tea, mangoes make for a delicious, healthy and guilt-free beverage
Brewing it Right!
Mangoes are exotic summer fruits which makes for excellent tropical summer drinks. If You are using tea bag , just let it brew for 3 minutes or a bit more depending on Your taste, and if You are using loose leaf mango tea, add the tea, and brew it to Your own liking. Brewing time recommendation- 3-4 minutes per cup serving.
Enjoy Mango Iced Tea, our favourite. Just make the liquor at double the strength and pour into a glass filled with ice. Melting ice dilutes the strong liquor and what you get is the perfect glass of Mango Iced Tea.
